英国汉语教学研究会(BCLTS)第八届国际学术讨论会
汉语作为外语教学法和课堂教学的实践理论
2010年6月28-30日,英国卡迪夫大学(University of Cardiff)
 
英国汉语教学研究会(BCLTS)第八届国际学术讨论会将于2010年6月28日至30日在英国卡迪夫大学举行。会议的主题是:汉语作为外语教学法和课堂教学的实践理论。现邀请提交关于汉语教学及学习领域广泛主题的论文摘要。会议主题对于英国及英国以外汉语教学界感兴趣的许多领域均具有重要的意义。
会议主题涉及汉语教师感兴趣且很重要的许多议题。汉语作外外语教学学习相关其他领域的论文也欢迎提交。会议期间将组织工作坊,便于针对与会者的研究兴趣进行更广范围的讨论。英国汉语教学研究会(BCLTS)会员、非本会会员、英国及其他国家地区的教学研究人员,均欢迎提交论文参加会议。
 
建议的讨论议题领域包括(但不限于)以下内容:
 
• 汉语学习策略
• 以学生为中心的教学
• 教学评估(听,说,读,写,翻译和口译)
• 教育技术辅助教学与学习
• 教学方法
• 教材发展
• 汉语教学和学习中的跨文化交际
 
论文摘要提交指南:
 
现诚邀提交论文摘要。汉语语言教学和学习方面的所有主题都在被考虑之列。会议工作语言为中文和英文。如被接受,一般情况下,每篇论文将安排30分钟(20分钟演讲,另加10分钟讨论)的发言。中文或英文摘要,或是两种语言的摘要,都可被接受。
提交的摘要等材料应包括下列内容:

• 姓名,性别和作者(所属机构)
• 250--300字的论文摘要
• 第一作者的邮政地址,电子邮件,电话和传真号码
• 第二作者的姓名,性别和联系方式

论文被接受并在会上发表的英国汉语教学研究会会员的旅行费用将由学会报销。

非英国汉语教学研究会会员:
非本会会员须交纳20英镑的注册费。提交会议论文并被接受者可不交纳。
住宿费用为单人间35英镑。

The Eighth BCLTS International Symposium
Practices Theories on Pedagogy and Chinese Foreign Language Classroom Practice

The Conference
The British Chinese Language Teachers Society (BCLTS) is pleased to announce the BCLTS 8th International Symposium will be held on 28th June – 30th June 2010 at the University of Cardiff, UK. The conference theme is: ‘Practices Theories on Pedagogy and Chinese Foreign Language Classroom Practice’. Submissions of paper abstracts related to the broad theme of Chinese teaching and learning are now invited. The theme is of significance to many areas of interest to the Chinese language teaching community in the UK and beyond.
The conference theme opens up a host of questions that are central to the interests of Chinese language teachers. Papers in other areas relevant to the teaching and learning of Chinese as a foreign language are also encouraged. Workshops will be organised during the conference for wider participation in discussions on issues that interest most practitioners. BCLTS members, non-members and researchers from in and outside the UK are welcome to present papers and participate in the conference. Suggested topic areas for discussion include (but are not limited to) the following:
· Chinese learning strategies
· Learner-centred teaching
· Assessment (listening, speaking, reading, writing, translation and interpreting)
· Technology-assisted teaching & learning
· Teaching methodology
· Teaching material development
· Intercultural communication in teaching and learning Chinese
 
Proposals for papers are now invited. Topics on any aspect of Chinese Language teaching and learning are considered. The working languages of the conference will be Chinese and English. Normally, individual papers will be allotted 30 minutes (20 minutes presentation plus 10 minutes discussion) if accepted. Abstracts in either Chinese or English, or both, are acceptable.
 
Abstract submissions should include the following information:
  1. Title of the paper
  2. Full name, gender and affiliation of the author(s)
  3. An abstract of 250-300 words
  4. The first author’s postal address, e-mail, telephone and fax numbers
  5. The second author’s full name, gender and affiliation
Submissions should be sent as an email attachment to Dr Lu Rugangrl602@soton.ac.uk
The travel expense of BCLTS members will be reimbursed by BCLTS if your paper is accepted and is delivered at the conference.

BCLTS members:
A deposit for accommodation (where applicable) of 30.00 GBP should arrive before Thursday 20th May 2010. Please register with Ms Lik Suen at School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London via email (lx@soas.ac.uk). BCLTS will charge room booking deposit of £30 (cheque is payable to University of Oxford) per member.  The cheques will be returned to the members who come to the conference at registration.
 
There is a £20.00 registration fee for non-members. This fee is waived for those whose papers are accepted for presentation at the conference. The accommodation cost is £35 for a single room.
